A horse trailer is a horse trailer is a horse trailer…or is it?

We recently had an invite to B&V Enterprises in Roseburg, Oregon. They are a retail trailer dealership offering a vast variety of trailers. Flat beds. Dump beds, Utility, Enclosed cargo, Horse and Livestock, and Toy Hauler style RV trailers.

The units they were sharing with us on this visit were the Renegade Aluminum slant load horse trailer and the Maverick Stock Trailer.

The motto BIGGER IS BETTER is quite evident when we were given our tour through the Renegade Aluminum trailer. This trailer features an eight inch extended tongue for ease of towing. An aero dynamic nose for improved fuel mileage and extra interior room. The outer skin is a much heavier gage aluminum than found on other manufactures trailers. The suspension system utilizes the Equa Flex rocker system that has shared benefits of sprung axels and torsion axels. Inside the stall area is ample room due to six inch roof radiuses and the slant load design, plenty of ventilation openings are standard as well as feeder bags and a heavy duty telescopic slam latch divider. The walls are fitted with rubber matting. The floor boards are constructed with 2x8 Douglas fir and covered with a one half inch rubber mat to complete the picture.

The rear door is also heavy duty with cam latch mechanisms. Exterior and interior lighting is excellent. Featuring L.E.D. tale lights, loading flood lights and duel system interior lights. Upfront in the tack room there are plenty of bars welded in for head sets, blankets and event clothing plus a built in boot box that doubles as a bench. A mirrored Oak door Vanity gives this trailer that extra touch of class. On those hot summer days you'll appreciate the thirty six inch full size RV door with screen. We found this trailer to be a very attractive unit and one we would highly recommend.

The Maverick Stock Trailer was designed with durability and ease of use on top of the list. This is a goose neck style trailer where attention to detail and toughness is quite evident.

Up front at the goose neck heavier steel tubing and gussets have been integrated to make one of the strongest if not the strongest systems available today. Hence the motto BIGGER IS BETTER. Inside is equipped with a slam latch divider made of galvanizes tubing. This divider has both interior and exterior releases and two safety pin locations. Way up front is the calf area with an easy to use calf gate. The escape door is mounted up front in the corner to prevent live stock from jamming up when exiting through it. Heavy duty torsion axels and sixteen inch eight lug wheels carries this trailer and load. Here again is a trailer that we are proud to feature and recommend.
